In this paper, the effects of geometry a submerged nozzle on damping characteristics are studied numerically. Firstly, numerical method is verified by previous experimental data. Then, mesh sensitivity analysis and monitor position independence carried out. Thirdly, systematically studied, focuses placed cavity size, convergent angle divergent angle. The pulse decay utilized to evaluate coefficient. Several important results obtained: with large volume leads low frequency acoustic oscillations in combustion chamber corresponds small coefficient; then, as decreased, coefficient increased. addition, has trivial effect lastly, temperature capability conducted. show that an increase working therefore, force
